Product Introduction

The EK6 series earthing switches are designed for indoor installation, complying with GB1985 and IEC 62271-102 standards. These switches feature snap-action operating mechanisms for reliable high-speed closing and are robustly constructed to handle rated short-circuit making currents when closed under load.

The closing speed is independent of operator controls. Supplied as kits with pre-assembled active parts and corresponding earthing contacts, these switches require proper installation in switchgear panels for full functionality. Routine tests according to GB1985 and IEC 62271-102 standards must be performed on-site.
