The motor-operated electric chassis is designed for use with circuit breakers, transformers, and other components in withdrawable switchgear. It facilitates the insertion and withdrawal of devices to assist in component connection and bus integration.

When coordinated with internal circuit breaker mechanisms and middle-positioned switchgear interlocking devices, this chassis meets the "five preventions" interlocking requirements specified in GB3906:

• Ensures circuit breaker can only be switched on when handcart is in test/isolation or working positions, preventing misconnection of isolating contacts under load
• Prevents earthing switch closure when handcart is in working position or within 10mm of test/isolation position
• Blocks handcart movement to working position when earthing switch is closed
• Prevents handcart removal from cabinet once it leaves test/isolation position
